The Tower
The 60 foot chapel tower serves as a distinctive landmark to visitors approaching the chapel. It is visible from all directions.
The architects of the chapel (Hewitt & Brown, Inc., Minneapolis) intended for this tower to be a replica of the original 30 foot round tower located at the historic fort. The exterior of the chapel, to include the tower, was designed to be harmonious to the old-block houses at Fort Snelling.
